FPS Automation announces Gianni Sandonà, class of 1969, as its new sales manager effective Oct. 1, 2024. With more than 30 years of experience in automation and robotics applied to injection molding, Sandonà has behind him a solid and versatile career within a Japanese industrial group.
Sandonà has developed soft skills and a deep understanding of the industrial automation market. But there is also a personal side: a swimming enthusiast, he has practiced the sport competitively for 25 years and has passed on his passion by teaching people with disabilities how to swim.
Gianni, how did your transition to FPS Automation come about?
“For many years I was involved in after-sales and research and development. At some point in my career I felt the need for a change and new professional stimulation. I was already familiar with FPS Automation, with whom I had had the opportunity to collaborate in the past. Knowing the market in which the company operates, I enthusiastically accepted the proposal to join their team.”
What do you expect from this new adventure?
“First and foremost, I am motivated by the idea of receiving new stimuli, meeting new clients, and learning more about other industries. I want to be an active participant in finding effective solutions to meet customers’ needs. I am confident that the company will support me step by step and help me grow together with them”.
