Kommerling Gresini Moto3 Team grasps good points with Gabriel Rodrigo, sixth in the Argentine Gran Prix of Moto3 World Championship.

The Argentine Grand Prix brought some important points to Team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3 as Gabriel Rodrigo was among the leading protagonists of the race in front of his home crowd. Starting from the thirteenth place on the grid at Termas de Rio Hondo, the rider #19 immediately showed he had what it takes to be at the sharp end.

With the fastest lap of the race, a good number of overtakes and an excellent race pace, the Argentine rider moved all the way to the front on several occasions. The Barcelona-born talented youngster kept himself within the front group for the whole second part of the race and battled for the win until four corners to go, when a collision between his bike’s front tyre and an opponent’s rear tyre cost him a few positions. Today’s ten points, however, have given Rodrigo a good boost of confidence as well as a push upwards in the standings.

Riccardo Rossi manged to complete yet another race in the World Championship as he crossed the line 22nd– just like three weekends prior in Qatar. Same result, but different feelings for the young Italian, who made big steps forward throughout the Argentine weekend on a track that was completely new to him.
