This weekend at Estoril was a showcase of sheer excellence for our partner, Mattia Casadei of Team Ciatti – Boscoscuro, as he took the European Moto2 Championship by storm. Casadei was unstoppable, securing pole position, winning Race 1 in formidable style, and taking a strong second place in Race 2, thus bolstering his lead in the championship standings.
From the outset at Misano, where the Italian team initially took the championship lead, to the continued dominance displayed in Estoril, Team Ciatti – Boscoscuro has been in top form. Casadei, in particular, excelled under challenging wet conditions, demonstrating his mastery by finishing over twelve seconds ahead of his closest competitor in Race 1. This performance not only highlighted his skill but also cemented his status as the man to beat.
Currently leading the European Moto2 Championship with 58 points, Casadei is a force to be reckoned with. At FPS Automation, we couldn’t be prouder to support Mattia and Team Ciatti – Boscoscuro.
